Most of our patients are seen on an appointment basis.  If your pet is in critical condition and needs to be seen right away, and it is during regular business hours, please call us at 970-635-1850 and we will do our best to fit you into our schedule as quickly as we can.

Symptoms that warrant an emergency visit include but not limited to:

• Bleeding excessively. Note: In birds a very small amount of bleeding that is not stopping may be excessive
• Difficulty Breathing
• Seizuring for more than 3-5 minutes
• Fever, Lethargy
• Not eating- in rabbits and guinea pigs even for a short time.
• Straining to urinate or defecate
• Vomiting, diarrhea
